dates from the 1940s, this color film that was filmed mainly in Times Square, but probably also scenes from the viewing platform at the Rockefeller Center (on Top of the Rock, thank you Franz!) Includes.
Also from the 1940s comes this short excerpt that also documents the Times Square about 60 years ago.
want more? No problem. Here comes a film from the late 1940s. The focus of interest is still the Times Square.
And finally, there is a brave artist who crosses the Times Square in 1932 in high altitudes and holds only with their teeth from a rope. Respect!
( This is an actual filming in 1932 with a woman crossing Times Square, New York, hanging by her teeth This is real and what I love is that she does an aerobic routine while she is hanging by her teeth;. Because hanging by her teeth might not be 500 feet up enticing enough. Awesome and will never be repeated .)
The woman who runs this really dangerous stunt apparently without a safety net, this is probably the artist with the stage name Tiny Kline.
