Welcome Home
approaching my first week in America to a close, why do you post before the first info: P
Aaaaalso:
Monday night by 2 clock rang the alarm. Then it was shower, eat, pack the stuff together and drive to Hamburg.
Because there waiting Nicki already on issue at the very friendly British Airways baggage to Women.
then went off the view from Nick towards the entrance, where a huge crowd of us rolled (rolled is really stupid but I just do not know quite how crowds of people as really move).
half Ganderkesee had thus made his way to once more direct to say goodbye to us - many thanks again for that!
course I had got too much baggage, which tolerated the very friendly British Airways ladies of course, so I shipped obviously in jest clothing in the suitcase of a fellow traveler (thanks Valerie!)!
Now it could go so well for me: from Hamburg to London and from there with NEM Jumbo Jet to NY. Watching movies, listening music and sleep - so went the 7 hours übern pond around quite well (and the charge that I'm not as well tolerated, I must mention here, or,?))
was at 42 degrees in New York then to Stamford to Holdiday Inn, where my room was already occupied by my roommate, South Africa to 99%, cool! Otherwise there was
orientation really nice and good food also, so we were in entering a full year thousands of miles away from home much easier. Above all he
Ney York trip was on Thursday night really impressive! So many people, lights, so much power and energy, I've never seen!
I must in any case again to him alone, because unfortunately the tour was very limited in time and accordingly hectic.
was Friday, it will really go: At about 2 am clock Lunch was again dragged the packed suitcase behind her, for the onward journey to the host families was in order. All were soooooo excited:) My
Away took place by train, about 3 hours drive from Stamford to Boston.
And there they were waiting on me: My Gastmum and the two kiddies were already running towards me when I was still struggling with my suitcase ... wow, wow, wow, WOOOOOOOOW!
So I was there: D
Super warmly I was received and after a kuzen car I finally came 'home' in a really nice, cozy, IKEA-shaped house.
I will stay here so that night 12 months .. a strange but also interesting feeling!
